much obliged. really, much obliged.

getting there is all one has.

even when the asphalt's split and the road is pitted
and perilous and crags and cliffsides and jagged rocks
are all you can see--- just keep thinking that
somewhere, somewhere like Kansas, or Delaware, or
frickin France or something, there's a road that's
worth driving, there's a little patch of heaven, and
you'll get there soon again anyhow.

thanks.

I just finished my fourth web site. It is for a music recording studio. The client wanted the entire site developed in Flash which means the site is animated with a design flair.
The draw back is the large file sizes. If you want to view the site make sure that your browser is running at an optimal speed, close all other software/and or windows in your system, brew some coffee and enjoy.

Make sure that you have the flash 6 pluggin installed in your browser. If you don't the screen will be completely blank.

To get it go to macromedia.com to the download section and download the Flash 6 player. Install, restart your computer, sign on, and go to the site.

Take care,

D'j'ever get the feeling that b'neath the sewage clumps and clod-hopper boots, b'neath the muck and the filth, the dogs and th' dirt--- that there might just not be anything to feel all that very good about?

Mayhap I don't have a clear idea who you are. Mayhap not.
Mayhap I ain' even clear on which side'the bed I woke up from this mornin', or where I'm gonna sleep tonight. Mayhap I look up at the bright bleary mist of sun, squint, wipe the sweat from my brow, and find nothing in particular all that settling.

Mayhap... Mayhap...

"Ronin" is not necessarily a warrior. The word "Samurai" does not mean soldier or warrior, it means servant. A ronin is a servant with no master. I live to serve, but at the moment I serve nobody.

I am currently discovering finally who/what I am. It is a difficult process, painful and full more of questions than answers. I'll get there, eventually. As it stands, I am on the horns of a dilemma of career: vocation or profession. I'll figure it out.

Your counsel is appreciated. I'll consider your words. Thanks,

In many ways Yes, I am related to Dick Diver. Maybe I am Dick diver. As to Hummus I have seen her posts but I don't know her.

thanks for the email ...... why are you choosing david still?
anyway that is not my busyness, just wonder about our rituals in modern times.....
i enyoyed our chat. or our talk. chatting for me is still a strange word. i am in the studio, trying to find sense in the stuff i have done. sometimes talking seems to make sense faster, still a lot has to be reconsiderated in multidimensional spacetime. what does it mean that you are not sure if you can go through with it? yes, let me know.

aaah... you're searching page impressions... but your site is loading tooooo slow... try to optimize it... and if you need page impressions, try to fix your search-engine source-code... use webmasterplan or other portals...

here are some keys:
- use the keyword in the url
- use the keyword in the alt-tag of images
- use the keyword in headlines
- try to fix the case-sensity to 5-8 %

good luck
iaka

PS: please remove me from your mailinglist...

I am entirely aware of the feeling that others know me better than I do. I'm sure you know me better than even my shrink, best friends or parish priest do. At times, inscrutability has played to my advantage; other times, it has been my ruin and the ruin of others. It seems that despite my efforts to put up a mask and hide my shameful self, I am transparent. I guess there are no more secrets.

So tell ME, David: I suspect David Still is an alter-Ego for someone else I know or who (at least) knows me. I'm familiar with davidstill.org and I think it's a neat thing, but it is also potentially a proxy for other would-be Davids to communicate publicly yet anonymously. I would like to know more of your interests in me. Your response will determine how much more we will correspond.

Cordially,

Dear David,
Hi, I hope you are feeling better today than the last time you wrote me. I didn't really understand what you were talking about. You said you were not an adopted person but an orphan. That made me feel really bad for you. I didn't really know what to say about your joking with me adopting you.
And since your first e-mail to me, was so mean; I thought it best to just not say anything.
I don't know you. I don't know what motivates you. I wonder if what you say to me is true or if you are just jerking me around.
About year or so ago a medicine that gave me a second chance to live, failed. I am a diabetic and my body began to respond to this by filling my blood with fats. Triglycerides. If we don't find another medicine to stop this affect: I only have a few years to live. I face such things as stroke and
heart attack.
My children don't like me because I was an alcoholic while they were young and to me the dysfunctional was a normal thing. I have been living at my middle child's house for about two years. She has let me know every single day that I am not welcome here. The day you wrote me that e-mail was one of the most miserable days of my life. I felt, in the evening that I had to be grateful to God for your e-mail because I got a warning that the day was going to be bad and I was able to respond to all the ass holes that have power over me thoughtfully. So it was THAT day that my daughter informed me that she is selling her house and I have to move back in with my son. My poor son is addicted to drugs and
he keeps the house full of his friends and they won't leave. They make noise all night and that makes it hard for me to sleep. But, also this is her computer so I won't be able to do my adoption search volunteering. We had a big fight today so my moving is sooner.
I am sorry that you are lonely. I hope you find a friend. You should think about things realistically. Understanding OTHER people. People tend to go toward things that feel good. Shy away from unpleasant things.
and
Actively avoid stuff that hurts.
Try to be a good guy Dave.
I might drop out of cyberspace anytime. Depends on how many mind games my kids want to play.
Bye Bye for Now
Lyn
