Dearest Mr. Point:

You have not gotten my goat. You have not even put a dent in my demeanor.

I love you like I love a pair of old tighty whiteys. You are covered with the detrius of days past, you cannot be bleached white, but you still might be useful as a dust rag.

good day mr point.

How dare you take it upon yourself to be the educator. I believe that much of the david still project is for self education. Figuring out the situation is the situation. And you have decided unilaterally to ruin the experience for so many people.

What is this message that you need to get across?

I see no message. I see a group of spoiler's. I see the people sitting behind me in the movie theater who can't shut up. I see the art patron who is looking for a picasso that matches his sofa color. I see someone who loves mcdonald's happy meals.

You my friend are a barbarian. Now don't go telling me the barbarians conquered Rome. I have been to elementary school... I know some things.

I am moved by your concern for the common person...the one who thirsts for knowledge but obviously doesn't have the facilities to figure out who or what David Still is. Although I do believe that by trying to educate these people you have set up a hierarchy, with you at the top.
I believe this is a fiction. It isn't so hard to figure out who or what David Still is. You have not accomplished any great feat. I think that you are very impressed with your own intellect. I am not.

I might be judging, but not from a self-appointed perch. I judge from the streets. I am the lessor or equal to my fellow human. This I believe with all my heart and soul. You on the other hand, although you claim not to judge, set yourself apart from other people. You have figured out this big mystery and now you want to share your prize with others. Let me assure you, you have not won any large prize. You are the big trophy hunter who has brought home the head of an ant. Celebrate your intellect, but do it in the privacy of your own home.

Until then,
Yours truly,
mark (aka David Still)

ummm uh mark....

sorry buddy but we uh actually love the david still system dude....

we just need to get our message across too....

and well mark we never made any jestures or comments about the art factor...

in fact (and i am sure david will agree)
we have added wholly to the organic ever changing experience of the david still project...

we have infact become forever a small fragment of the david still system....

our motives are this alone...

educate = balance

not all people knew tounge in check or other wise that david still was not what it was ....

knowledge ....

don't quash the spread or the thirst mark....

truly that would be anti art would it not?

i ask you questions mark...
i don't judge you ....

you may find in your life that removing the judging of others from your life will improve it...

as well mark let us know if vail resorts tends to staff folks like you typically ...

so we can add that to our systems too!!!

thanks

yes, i did see you. and yes, i did recognize you. but with all the drama surrounding the whole hand puppet incident, i just thought it better if we not be seen in public together, in a friendly way anyhow. in any case, me love you still. and happy Ramadan.

Wednesday is no good - let's try for next thursday. I will be in the Alameda area around then anyway.

Was it you on the phone the other day? When will you learn to leave the bankers alone? Haven't you already paid a high enough cost?

to the contrary. If anything, MORE sequins would've been better. Perhaps an added fringe, some beads, or glitter would've improved the effect. Don't worry, the sequins were far from being overkill.
