Do you know what happened?

For your information, I do not give a hoot about Irak or its leaders; so if some hawks want to use war, instead of diplomacy, I have not a single objection so long as they show a modicum of objectivity and evenhandedness by waging, while they are at it, war against the other country in the Middle East that has, since its birth, broken even more UN resolutions than Irak. In either case, those who advocate war, as you do, should be first to be sent to the frontline. Are you a candidate, or are you only an internet warrior ? >From: David Still >so many things come up and I seem unable to give a full repsponse. Take this as a fact: when the US goes in to take out Saddam, there will be much more support than you believe currently exists--and the French will jump on board, Russia already there, Jordan, and Egypt, behind the scenes too... what one must say in public and then do when in private is but another example of the realities of politics. I do not want a war. But I do believe that Bush will not change his mind on this and I do believe that he will have much support, and I do believe he put the onus on the weak-will UN to put up or shut up... Inspections or else... what they ought to have insisted upon except for the many silly states that are worthless.
