Re:
That Dog
MESSAGE

I have never met you before nor have you ever given me the courtesy of having a neighborly discussion. I would classify your note as "Stalker-ish". The reason my dog barks is that there are many coyotes in the neighborhood and his presence will help to keep them away. I have lived in this house for 12 years and since he has been around we have heard less howling from coyotes. On more than one occasion we have been awaken in the wee hours of the morning by howling packs of coyotes. That has not happened since we have had Dusty. I have been quite respectful of the time at which we put Dusty out and he is never out beyond 10:00 pm. In fact I had a discussion with the Police and he was actually quite frustrated by even having to make a call on a house with a barking dog who was actually in the house and not barking when he arrived. He did not see a reason to come out again. If you feel this matter requires further discussion please feel free to come over and discuss. At this point I don't see my dog as the one with the problem. jt Sent from my iPhone > On Sep 4, 2014, at 9:30 AM, David Still
